Church Internal Renovations

Adult Education,Parish Catechisis
Fr. Willie McFadden, Diocesan Adult Education Co-ordinator has organised a day of reflection and discussion in our church hall on Saturday 19th June 11.30am-3.00pm. Please bring a packed lunch ( tea, coffee will be provided). At the last meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council Adult Education was singled out as a major issue within the Diocese so I am hoping that our parish will be well represented at this meeting.

Renovations in the Hall
Francis Rooney is working hard to establish a kitchen in the hall. We are also looking at the toilets with a view to renovating the toilets near the door of the hall. This is dependant on further funding from the Minerals Trust. I will be submitting an application soon. Also we have discovered dry rot under the stage and this needs to be treated as soon as possible.
Parish tidy up day
Now that the outside work has been done around the hall and church I hope that one Saturday afternoon in June we might get a team together to tidy up the grounds.
collection
£224.70, 50/50 £49.70, Papal visit £111.30. Many thanks for your continuing generosity.
